This is your jungle survival skills expert speaking-YOU MUST READ THIS POST!!!

1. Leeches

Leeches resemble worms and they feed on the blood of organisms by sucking with their front suckers.

When confronted with a leech, DO NOT FLICK IT OR PULL IT AWAY. You may aggravate the puncture wound (advisable to bring your own plasters). Instead, add a pinch of salt on it. Using a lighter also works, but be careful. Put powder on your body before the hike as an extra precaution.

2. Snakes

Snakes may be poisonous! Do not be fooled into thinking snakes are fat long creatures! There was an incident IN VS finding a 14cm snake IN THE FIELD!!!

To identify a poisonous snake (should you really, touch wood, encounter a snake) , look at its head. If the tip is pointed/shaped like an arrow, it may be poisonous. If the tip is rounded, it may not be poisonous. Do not panic should you encounter a snake, slowly step back and warn others, get some brave person to grab a stick and kill it...to kill a snake, use one solid whack AT ITS NECK. Do not whack anywhere else-the neck is the most important part!!!

And to lighten the mood, just get your imaginary ka-ching out for a game of round table taiti...on the train...

DISCLAIMER: You are in no means compelled to follow these safety precautions and advice-just remember who is the one who has done all these sai kang before and whether you really find all this advice which is his niche reliable...
